OUR STORY
Percent for Good was conceived by Mark after working in the City for over 20 years and recognising the importance of giving back to society in various forms. Having donated through payroll giving while working, he experienced the simplicity of the giving process, but rarely found the time to research the charities he was donating to.
This was the kernel of an idea - many working professionals are “cash rich” but “time poor”. They are sophisticated and want their donations to go to impactful charities. In addition, many feel connected to a particular ”cause” and want to find a way to contribute to that with confidence.
Percent for Good was conceived to enable donors an easy way to give on a regular basis, to causes that they feel strongly about via charities that have been carefully curated for their impact on the ground. The Cause Portfolios are a real innovation in the giving space and allow donations to be spread, widening the impact of every individual donation.

Former Fund Manager, Mark founded Percent for Good to facilitate a wider culture of giving across the corporate sector, making it easy for people to give to causes they feel passionate about.

Former Head of Planned Giving Philanthropy at CRUK, Sianne sits on various impact advisory groups and is Trustee of Save the Rhino & Mosaik Education.

Sara Gilbert
Trustee
Sara has been in financial services for over 25 years, the last 16 specialising in building fintech businesses internationally. Sara is passionate about social mobility and DE&I, mentoring across several programmes. Sara contributes 1% across the Social Mobility, Health & Wellbeing and Cost of Living Portfolios.
Rupert Welchman
Trustee
Rupert is a Fund Manager, specialising in Impact Investing. He is also a trustee for the human rights charity, Reprieve and mentor to a number of small businesses.

Ross Mitchinson
Trustee
Ross is co CEO of Deutsche Numis. He has previously worked at UBS and Kaupthing Singer & Friedlander. Ross is a graduate of Edinburgh University.

Robert Gardner
Ambassador
Robert is CEO of Rebalance Earth and has 25 years of experience as an entrepreneur and impact investor with a particular interest in climate change. Robert contributes 1% to the Education and the Arts Portfolio
